B-Grade or Seconds pins are less-than-perfect, flawed pins offered at a discount. These issues can be underfilled or un-filled enamel that leave a metal gap, overfilled enamel that comes over the metal linework, or discoloration or debris on the front face of the pin. I recommend B-Grade pins for folks who like to use pins on high-impact locations like backpacks and other bags where they'll experience wear and tear anyways. B-grades aren't the best for a showcase collector who wants perfection!
